Last week i have attended the launch of the new Smashbox Counter in Arnotts (Dublin) and got to play with some of their fabulous products. I have been a Smashbox junkie for years, love their shadows, powders, brushes and well, everything about them. The quality is amazing, i have brushes 4 years old that i use every day and still look and feel brand new. The eye shadows feel buttery soft, bursting with pigment and long lasting. The Halo powder its a must powder for an overall glow and sun kissed look. Did i mention that i love them, yes?

After Janine, their amazing Makeup Artist finished the presentation of the new Spring Collection, i couldn’t help myself not picking a few products to take home. Although its obvious that i don’t have blue eyes, the Blue Eyes palette seemed the answer for day to day, work appropriate eye look. With a combination of satin soft and matte neutrals, i firmly believe this palette its a great alternative to the new Urban Decay Naked Basics. Now i only need the hazel and brown eyes ones .

PS. The main attraction of their new counter its a fabulous photobooth that takes your picture after a makeover and instantly uploads it to Facebook, Twitter, Email etc. How cool is that! Here is me, ArtDonatella and ActionMags giving it loads:

Stila One Step Primer – evens out skintone, illuminates and photographs amazingly well. Apparently The Product to achieve that Kardashian glow.

Stila Mineral Powder – evens out redness, dulness and yellow tones by mixing green, apricot and violet mineral pigments.

This week i had the pleasure to be invited by The Body Shop for the release of their new summer collection – Beauty With Heart. The flagship store on Grafton Street was buzzing with beauty bloggers, champagne was flowing and cakes were tempting everyone, while the hostesses were offering pampering mini treatments like hair curling or hand massages.

The Body Shop Christmas Collection

Last night I’ve stepped in the magical land of Christmas, with spicy warm mulled wine, canapes and ginger bread biscuits all courtesy of The Body Shop.

And for the record, no i don’t care that its only end of October…I love Christmas!!! The sooner, the better!

This post is just part 1, i will do another post about what i learned from the ever so fabulous Makeup Artist Karim and some reviews of what ive tried from new collection.

I’m still torn between the Candied Ginger and Cranberry Joy Limited Edition body products, they are both so warming and festive scented.

Stars of the Christmas makeup collection are by far the new smokey eyeshadow palettes. Generous sizes, excellent eyeshadow brush and a travel size eye pencil, what could you as for more?
