Holiday Snaps

Posted : 16th August 2012

The moment we landed in Egypt, i found myself relax. The hot air and the sweetness of summer helped de-stress every single muscle in body, felt like i was finally home. In just a couple of days i was already golden and i was sporting a huge grin on my face from morning until dawn, God i missed these torrid summer days…

I didn’t really bother with many clothes, this must be the lightest i ever traveled. I didn’t need much material things to enjoy my Arabian Night fantasy.

London city break and loads of pics :)

Posted : 12th August 2011

Hello my lovelies, how are you all keeping?

Last week i returned from a four day city break in London and i thought i should share with you my holiday impressions and the bits and bobs i got. Luckily for us, we returned home just a day before the riots started so nothing disturbed our stay. Still cant believe that this has happened in a city like London, the reasons why it did are not very clear to me. Especially in recession times, to willingly rob and destroy small business and put the life’s of innocent people in danger for some free runners, it baffles me.

Like somebody said on Twitter earlier this week:

In Libya, people are walking into bullets for the chance of gaining democracy. You’re robbing Carpet Right. You’re a f@#%ing embarrassment.
Moving on to lighter thoughts, this are a few of my London pictures. Clothes wise, i wasn’t prepared at all for the heat wave happening there – packing only t-shirts and jeans. On the first day i had to raid the shops in the search of shorts and sandals, thank god for the sales!

And this little squirrel in the park, there were so many of them!

Also went to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham palace, seen the M&M’s shop (which is amazeballs btw) and did loads of walking and sightseeing.

Shopping wise i didn’t get much, i just wasn’t into it. Well, probably buying loads in the Dublin sales had something to do with that feeling :) . Anyway it was for the best not spending loads of money as my dentist hit me with a massive bill. Hate to be me, that’s all I’m saying.

Barcelona

Posted : 3rd June 2011

Probably i bored to death everybody on Twitter about my holiday in Barcelona, but i cant help it. I just get so excited about going away and holidays in general, that i have to shout to the world a million times a day.

I’ve taken a hundreds of photos of everything, so i will just share some of the highlights with you here.  We walked everywhere, visited the Sagrada Familia, spent every night on Las Ramblas, shopped till i dropped in Catalonia Square, went for a swim on Barcelonetta beach, went for a stroll in Park Guell and many, many more.

All the photos posted were taken with the Iphone 4 and edited with the Instagram App. You can follow me if you wish on Istagram, i love to browse and see pretty pictures.

We stayed very near of the Sagrada Familia, in the Aranea Hotel. We cant recommend it enough, it was excellent!

If only the next 8 weeks will fly until the next holiday….
