Before every holiday, i hit the shops in the search of new things to wear while away. I just love wearing new clothes or makeup and try new things, while relaxing and getting some ‘me’ time. Any excuse for shopping huh?!
I will be going to Bucharest again next week and i needed some casual, comfy clothes to wear. My Mango 30% off sale order (see what i’ve got here) came in and i have to say i love everything! Can’t wait to show you the clothes in some ootd’s (first one here), hopefully shot by my talented sister Stephanine.co. Also, i finally got the knee ripped, black Ridley jeans from Asos (link!) and i have to say i love them more than the Topshop Leighs. So comfortable, ankle gazing, high waist and they have magic powers by sucking everything in and creating the illusion of perfect, skinny legs. I am in love!!!
I needed a tote for traveling and to carry around my camera and other bits in the city – so the Outnet.com 60% sale on Michael Kors came in perfect timing. I paid for my new striped medium tote €147 with super speedy delivery included in the price. I had €47 on my PayPal already, so it was really a huge bargain! Its sooooo pretty!!!!
Mine is sold out, but have a look at these beauties:
You probably seen my previous post (here), wearing my Primark Opia necklace – for €6 you get a seriously high end looking necklace, comfortable to wear. Silver beads go with absolutely everything and can update a simple look. It is available in gold too.
Finally, i found my light blue shirt! I got it in the Ralph Lauren Outlet in Kildare Village and my only regret is that i didn’t snap the pink version too. The cotton is so soft and flattering, i can predict ill get loads of wear out of it.
I got my highlights redone in Style Club and in a desperate attempt of not washing my hair so frequently, i got the Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo Aussome Volume. OMG this is so good! The volume i get is insane, the smell divine and my hair looks fresh again in seconds. Im seriously impressed, try it and you wont be sorry. So far the cheapest i seen it was in McCabes Pharmacy.
I recently sold my Clarisonic brush to justify spending the money on the new Clinique Sonic Brush. Compared to the Clarisonic (which i liked btw), the Clinique Sonic is smaller, cheaper (€89 vs €150+), feels so light and gentle on the skin.
Due to the two type of bristles – green (rougher) for nose, forehead (t-zone) and hairline and white (gentle) for sensitive areas like the cheeks.
The Clarisonic has two bristle types as well, its just that the rougher ones are incorporated in a circle in the middle of the brush head so no matter what area you use it, you are getting the full feel. At least with Sonic, if you find the green bristles too harsh you can choose to use the white ones only.
Anyway, no matter what brand your brush is, i cant recommend enough incorporating a sonic brush in your routine. It will rock your world!
I was kindly sent the InStyler brush to review, i only used it a couple of times so far and mainly for straightening the hair. My styling process has been seriously reduced, the innovative brush and rotative barrel can deliver smooth, frizz free hair in minutes. I just need to master the curls now!
Because i liked the Medium Tan from NKD SKN so much, Vita Liberata kindly sent me the Dark version to review. I haven’t tried it yet, im saving it for my holiday (!) so as soon as i wear the tan you will get a review. In the meantime, Vita Liberata are giving a 45% discount to all YourBeauty.ie readers with code YOURBEAUTY45 on their online site – www.vitaliberata.co.uk. Such a bargain!
I got the Clarins Extra Comfort foundation, after seeing numerous praising posts from my fave blogger Laura. Its a full coverage, super dewy and radiant foundation that it will give you a flawless complexion. Setting it with a powder is a must for me, as i am quite oily, but after that it doesnt budge. Im using the Buffing Brush from RT for application, its way to creamy for a standard flat brush. Yes, Laura was right, it is lovely.
Mrs went shopping as well, he got a couple of jumpers for office wear from Kildare Village. We always seem to find such good offers in there, from Ralph Lauren and SuperDry in particular, so if you are looking to gift that special man in your life a designer gear due visit the Kildare Outlet.
Pfff… and thats it! Next time ill be shopping for clothes would probably be during the December sales, im all set for a while. Well…i could do with a new pair of boots and a new coat. Maybe i can find something nice in Romania!
