#1 BLEACH LONDON HAIRCARE
Going blonde was certainly a very expensive decision, so im trying to get as much out from my highlights between appointments (usually every 8 weeks). For the last year, ive been using religiously the Bleach London products available in Boots, along side the Schwarzkopf Color XXL Icy Platinum toner mousse.
After trying out professional salon products to brighten and banish the yellow, like the famous Joico Color Endure Violet range, i can hand on heart say that the Bleach Silver Shampoo (€7.99) and Conditioner (€7.99) are just as good, without the hefty salon price tag. Even better, i got them 3 for 2!
I would use them once a week, following up with the Icy Platinum toner mousse to help maintaining that cool, ashy blonde tone that i like. Once a month, i would do a proper toning session with the Bleach White Toner (€9.99) to really brighten and keep the hair looking great.
#2 SALLY HANSEN NAIL POLISH in WINE NOT
I got this gorgeous burgundy red Sally Hansen nail polish in a Littlewoods.ie goodie bag when i went to preview their AW15 collection. I can finally get what the fuss is about! This shade hasn’t left my nails for the past five days, despite nesting obsessive tendencies to scrub the house raw. Its the most perfect red shade for autumn, deep and rich with a metallic shimmer going trough. Swoon!
I am stationery obsessed! Thanks to Asos, i got my long awaited Ban Do I Am Very Busy pink agenda to help organize my life in the next 17 months and i am over the heels in love with it! Its everything that i wanted in a girly, fun and yet strategically organized diary/ planner. Its sold out everywhere at the moment, but definitely check out Hippenings.com for similar styles.
With a new diary, fancy pens must follow. I got my ‘Kate Spade’ pencils in the stationery section of TK Maxx in Dundrum for only €5.99, who knew they have such a cute section? I also like these polka dot pencils from Cath Kidston – link! for the most perfect Instagram worthy collection :).
#4 GETTING THE CHOP?
As i am counting the days until pay day, which means Hair Appointment Day, i keep looking up on Pinterest for different long bob styles. My hair is growing at a turbo pace, which means that after the baby i will probably be left with three lousy strands. Will i, wont i… hair decisions are just so hard #firstworldproblems.
