Luckily Lloyds Pharmacy had me covered with a great selection of products meant to get anyone summer ready, sending me a couple of their must haves to protect and repair from sun damage.
The Nuxe SPF 30 was tested this weekend, for the second year around during our seaside picnic. Did i mentioned i got the cutest picnic basket ever in the House of Fraser Sale? We packed away some yummy food, two cold Peroni’s and all the milk money can buy and jetted to Malahide. The sun was blazing, the beer was flowing and the baby was roaring. She just hates to stay still, or just outside for that matter! So despite all the stress, both me and my husband were smelling lovely and didn’t get sunburned at all, i could even venture in saying we might be a quarter of a shade darker :).

When we got back home, once the baby went to bed I continued my pampering experience with the Nuxe After Sun Hair and Body Shampoo, using it as a shower gel. OMG it smells delicious! After such a great sunny day by the beach, showering with the After Sun made me feel i was on holiday, oh the memories of care free beach holidays.
For my hair i’ve used the Toni & Guy Shampoo and Conditioner for Damaged Hair, cleansing and nourishing my highlighted hair after being baked in the sun. I had used before the Cleansing Shampoo from Toni & Guy and liked it, so it was a pleasant surprise using the Damaged Hair version. My hair was left soft and manageable, so if you are looking out for a budget buy i would give them a chance.
Finishing off, ive massaged all my wobbly bits with the Nuxe Melting Firming Cream. I actually had this body moisturizer on my wishlist for ages – rich, decadent and gorgeous, the firming cream will tone and even out the skin where it needs most. Its such a luxurious experience at the end of the day to just pamper the body skin and give it an anti age lift. We all know i need it!
