Well this is embarrassing, my last blog post was January Favorites and here i am now with a February haul. The quality of my content is at all time highs isn’t it? Hear me out though, the gods of blogging have been against me, trowing lots of baby and mommy sickness my way. Plus working days, cleaning days and plain old feeling lazy in our pajama days. You have to have them, they are a basic mum right.
So when i would have a particular miserable day, i would shop in an attempt to make myself feel better. Listen, its cheaper than therapy. I bought some clothes, some books and plenty of makeup, surely setting myself for super mum success.
The trouble is that due to said sick days and pj afternoons i haven’t really got to play with my shiny new things so this will be a ‘look at what i spent my money on’ type of post. Hope that’s fine with you!

Shop Mango
After a particular challenging week, half of it spent in the hospital with Sophia, i needed a little pick me up in the form of new Mango clothes. I still have a mile long wish list in my account, i could even dare and say that Mango is slowly becoming a serious contender for my purse affections instead of Zara. I am not one to wear fancy clothes and heels, so i love buying nice basics with a twist. Case in point , the Dream embroidery makes it stand out a bit more than the usual basic tee. And its comfortable and slouchy, perfect for jeans days.
Also, i am a true trainer and Converse addict. I walk everywhere or take the public transport, so comfort is key. When i came across i just had to get them. They are basically part of my mum uniform, so rude not too. The quality is high, they fit really well and the applications don’t look tacky or cheap. Safe to say i am very pleased.

Yes, i went to town beauty wise . February had some really handy deals trough out and i mainly spent my Boots Advantage Card points on the above products.
I heard lots of good things about the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Cushion Foundation so i got it to keep in my handbag for quick touch ups. I’m a huge fan of the original Teint Idole foundation, so i have high expectations of this one. I have tried before and reviewed the Teint Miracle cushion (see here) and im hoping that Teint Idole will be slightly more coverage.
I got intrigued by the new Clinique BIY Foundation Pigment Drops – you can use your own moisturiser with them to create your perfect coverage. One drop for light coverage, two for medium and three for full. Im dying to put it trough the tests! Im going to team it up with the Clinique Pep Start Hydroblur to achieve a matte, full coverage finish. Review to follow!
Another Clinique purchase was the Sun Kissed Face Gelee, its an instant and washable face tan that will just perk up my skin tone. I tend to get so pale and grey this time of year, the idea of an instant tan is very appealing.
Lastly, i got the RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum. If you remember, last year i was saying that after my pregnancy i lost all my eyelashes. One year later, there is some definite regrowth but nothing compared to what my eyelashes used to be. Im hoping that RapidLash will give me the length, thickness and fullness i need. Considering the price, im expecting MIRACLES!

My clean eating notions are in full swing, i keep reading healthy cooking books, research online and salivate over Instagram photos…only to get hungry and order a takeaway. Im hoping for a quieter, no drama week to get ready and food prep and probably the most important, get into the right mindset.
I bought my books from Amazon and after reading trough the three of them i can honestly recommend them all. Clean Eating Alice is probably my favorite as it has plenty of easy, minimum ingredients and fast recipes. I can see myself cooking from it as i dont have to spend €100 on ingredients for a clean brownie recipe. The fussier, more hipster one is the . I had to raise an eyebrow with some of the ingredients, but overall its a good book to get stuck in and motivated. There is a poster with her famous BBG workout that hopefully i will be able to start in this lifetime. If you are into lifting, Zanna’s book is the one for you, plenty of weight based exercises and knowledge.
Have you bought anything nice lately? Im feeling way too spendy for my own good.

I have, as it was my birthday last month, and I will have a haul coming up. Actually a lot of fashion stuff, quite strange for me.
Why was your beautiful daughter in hospital? I hope everything is fine now.
