When i put up a box on my Instagram stories, asking for content suggestions, there were a couple of requests of featuring natural and cruelty brands. When it comes to the skincare brands i use, my skin seems to trive more on the ones that don’t necessarily market themselves as ‘natural’ or clean. I suppose my skin loves a good active ingredient and a ‘chemical’.

is an Australian, award winning skincare and makeup brand. It prides itself having some of the highest certifications in its category. INIKA Organic products are certified organic, certified vegan, certified cruelty-free and certified halal.

Besides the certifications i mentioned, the brand is sustainable using recycling materials and using biodegradable tubes derived from sugar cane.

An organic skincare routine

I got send some of bestselling skincare products to try. A full skincare routine incorporating INIKA cleanser, serum, moisturiser and eye cream. One of the key points of difference when it comes to the brand, is that each product tells what percentage of organic ingredients it contains. For example, the Phytofuse Renew Resveratrol Serum is 83% Organic. Or the Maca Root Day Cream is 81% organic.

As a cleansing solution, INIKA recommends the . I absolutely loved the way this creamy cleanser is packaged. A tube applicator with a little massage head to dispense the product efficiently. It dissolves makeup and SPF, leaving the skin soft and bright.

I followed up with the P. A blend of 14 nourishing oils to boost skins regeneration and minimize the appearance of fine lines. I found a little goes a long way and its quickly absorbed into the skin.

The follows up the serum and promises to protect against pollution and daily stressors. It boosts glow and keeps the skin soft and supple. I found that the texture was lightweight and left my skin hydrated yet matte. The absence of silicons mean that there’s no silky film residue on the skin.

Lastly, the is a joy to use. Thanks to the cooling applicator, the light weight cream gently hydrates, reduces dark circles and puffiness.

Inika Organic Product Overview

Too early to note any dramatic results, however the daily application itself is lovely and left my skin in good condition. None of the products contain SPF so i added my usual one on top of the moisturizer. The packaging feels luxurious and looks beautiful. The product formulas are creamy with a light herbal scent.

There’s no silicone, fragrance or other additions that would change the feel of the product. That was probably the biggest difference when i tried the products. Also, i noticed that it takes a bit longer for the product to be absorbed into the skin. If applied too much, the formula can look a bit ‘soapy’ until absorbed completely into the skin. Easily remediated with a gentle massage and a ‘less is more’ approach for quantities.
