New in my Closet! Zara, Michael Kors, Peter Pilloto, H&M and DVF

I tend to go trough stages with my shopping, i either get super excited about new lipsticks and im convincing myself that i ‘need’ a complete makeup collection overhaul or i tend to obsess over the new fashion releases and fantasize about new dresses, skirts and coats that will make me feel like a princess. One thing is certain, shopping of some sort will always be happening.

My latest cravings are involving everything fashion related. I blame my husband who made me a wonderful surprise on our first Valentines celebration as a married couple and picked up the latest mini in a gorgeous fuchsia color. Whilst i handed back a card and a pair of Topman Chinos that he asked for anyway. Guess is easy to spot the spoiled one in our relationship!

Since i got the bag i become obsessed! I suddenly needed a new coat to go with it, a new purse to match the pink and of course a bunch of other stuff that would go with the new queen of my wardrobe. My hair became an issue, a pastel goddess needs balyage highlights and blondes look prettier during the summer anyways… He created a monster!

The softest denim, shaped in a fitted shirt with the cutest polka dots ever! Worn by itself with a statement necklace with jeans and converse, tucked in a pencil skirt with heels or under the current ‘it’ grey sweatshirts, a denim shirt is must have this season.

Peter Pilotto Print Crepe Dress for Target via Net-a-Porter €53.

Since i’ve seen Laura’s post wearing this dress, i couldn’t get it out of my head. So when i noticed there was free delivery on Net-a-Porter, i jumped to the occasion. I ordered a size 2 because it was the only one available and prayed to fit and made vows that if it does, ill give up chocolate! I’m usually an UK size 8 in dresses and the USA 2 meant a tiny size 6 (UK). Luckily it fitted like a glove and it got even thumbs up from the husband, the flattering hem and waist belt creates a lovely silhouette. As for giving up chocolate, spoon and eggs don’t count right?!

DVF Pink Lips Purse via Outnet.com €78

I needed a new purse for a while and the new bag created the perfect opportunity. I have such a soft spot for Diane Von Fustenberg, love her wrap dresses and hope ill own a black and white one eventually. The burgundy sandals i got years ago (link!), are still the most comfortable pair from my wardrobe.

The soft leather, fun inside print and practical shape convinced me that this purse will be a lovely companion for my Selma. And i was right.
