I love Bucharest for home decor and pharmacy shopping. The pharmacies are bursting with all the big french names like Bioderma, Uriage, Vichy, Avene etc having more products launched than the Emerald Island. Bucharest is not named ‘The Little Paris’ for nothing!
Yes, there is Sephora in Bucharest! Zara Home had me wishing i checked in two more luggages, i want everything! There is a H&M Home too but i got overly excited and forgot to snap some pics.
Bioderma is available at every corner, so of course i stocked up. Next time i want to get one of the oily/combination skin version too. Had been using them all since i was a teenager, way long before the bloggers hype and i always come back to it. Price 55.10 Lei/ €12.52 for 500ml bottle.
Bamboo is the cutest little home decor shop and it was full of Easter decorations. Unfortunately like most shops in Bucharest, they didn’t let me take photos inside (?!) to show you how pretty it is – although i think Elvira the Sheep can give you a taste of the quirkiness. Think Next home, but way cheaper.
Bourjois has a whole body care range available and let me tell you its gorgeous! I usually have to beg my friends to post me some, its that good. Love the scents, the packaging and of course, the quality. I got two spray deodorants, because there was no more room for the shower gels and shimmering dry oil sniff! Price 13.78 Lei/ €3.13 each.
Another Bamboo purchase, these cute Lady Bug hooks. They were just too cute! I plan on using them to hang pictures or cards, to get our home ready for summer.
The best anti-cellulite range i ever tried – Elmiplant CelluFight. With every day use twice a day, it guarantees 2cm loss around your hips. Amazing!! Its thermo active which means it will locally heat up the area and burn the excess fat, you really feel it working.
Last but not least, Bucharest is the place of the best iced coffee/frappe money can buy (aprox €4.50). I had one every day and im currently experiencing major withdrawals…
Ooo I don’t know what I want more a visit to sephora or a frappee

If only all those stores were in Ireland but I guess that makes it super fun when you get to try places that you don’t normally see!
