There is no better time for orange lips than the arrival of summer – tanned skin, ombre honey hair and orange lips make me more excited than anything else. So i had a good rummage in my collection for the perfect sunny orange that will match my sunny disposition.
Before anything else though, i need to talk about the La Roche Posay Dermaox moisturiser. Not as popular as Effaclar, Dermaox is the ‘first signs of aging’ range full of antioxidant vitamin C, that will boost the radiance of your skin, smooth the texture and minimize signs of aging. I have been using it for two weeks and i love it so much! The radiance is noticeable after only a couple of days and the whole skin feels healthy. There is a super duper serum in the collection too that i used to love – Dermaox Serum its a good dupe for my beloved and discontinued(!) Lancome Primordiale serum (anybody else remembers that?).
And now for the fun stuff: orange lips! Nothing will uplift your mood like a Mac Vegas Volt or Morange.
Vegas Volt – a creamy, strong coral with yellow undertones, that will work wonders on a warm skintone. The amplified finish, means that it will not cling on dry patches and the slight sheen gives a full lip appearance.
Morange on the other hand is an ‘in your face’, obnoxious neon orange. And i love it! Not for the faint hearted, Morange will definitely get you noticed. Predict that it will be a beach favorite, need some tan to pull this one off.
I need to invest in a good orange lip pencil, these lipsticks don’t allow messy applications. Any suggestions?

Love corals on you! Also loving l.r.p at the moment, I recently bought the normaderm lotion and it is incredible! Reminds me of Hydrazen lotion but it’s got incredible moisturising and exfoliating properties and contains lots of active anti-blemish ingredients, plus it’s less than fifteen euro! Definitely give it a go the next time you get a bad breakout, it’s dreamy 🙂

It is soooo nice! So wearable too, its not too in your face – just the perfect amount of coral. I just need an lip liner to match, my application was terrible.

@Kate, ive been using Normaderm in my teens and its great! As i got older, i prefer the Effaclar K as its more of a skin resurfacing product rather than spot treatment. I just went to get the Dermaox serum and apparently the whole line is discontinued, devo!
