Love at first sight: Urban Decay Naked Palette

I have been lusting over this baby for a long time, feeling slightly jealous on the luckier bloggers who got their paws on it before me. But my time has come bwaha ha ha!! I spotted the UD Naked Palette in Debenhams, Cork on my holiday and didn’t even blinked while giving my credit card to make the 36,00 euro purchase.

I know it has been reviewed by lots of lovely bloggers, but i cant help giving my two cents on the matter.

I always had a soft spot for Urban Decay palettes, i love their texture, colors, pigmentation and make great gifts. The only thing that i don’t like about them are the sparkly eye shadows. They fall everywhere, the sparkle is to chunky!!! And yes, i even tried the new version of them – Stardust, still don’t like them.

As you can see, the palette consists of 12 neutral eye shadows, with textures varying from matte to shimmer or even sparkle (only two thank God). For me, this makes a perfect day-to-night kit, that can be carried easily in your bag without being bulky or messy. It also comes with a mini version of Eyeshadow Primer Potion and a two head 24/7 pencil in Zero (black) and Whiskey (brown).

Lets proceed to the swatches:

I’m sorry about the quality of the photos, I’ve taken them at night time so only had artificial light. Couldn’t wait until morning :).

Also when i was at the UD counter, have seen the Book of Shadows 3 -NYC. I will give this one a miss *shocking* the colors are nice, but have most of them in other UD palettes. It would make a great Xmas gift for someone though…will see, will see.

Beautiful – honestly ! I have a question… I need some make up remover (preferably wipes) and was wondering if you had done or could do a review on them ?

    Thanks x

I really really really dont like face or eye wipes, im sorry. I know lots of people use them but i believe that are to harsh on the skin and never clean properly. I use Lancome Bifacil eyemakeup remover, its a bit expensive (28euro) but i always come back to it.
