Sunday FOTD and a bit of shopping…

Yesterday i felt so fed up with my current foundation (Double Wear) and my general face (!) that i had to go and purchase a new one. After consulting myself with my friend Emma, decided to go for the Mac Studio Sculpt Fluid her holly grail. If you see Emma, you would buy anything that girl is using she is absolutely gorgeous and her makeup is always looking polished and perfect.

My problem with Double Wear is that my face is still getting shiny after a couple of hours, not as bad as before but still shiny. And im not thrilled about the colour either – 2N3 Chamois, is a tad to dark for my skin and its better to have a bit of tan on (which i never have).

Of course i couldn’t stop myself and just buy a foundation…

Cue Studio Fix Fluid in NC25, Prep and Prime Spf 15 and Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Spring Sheen.

I’m absolutely in love with the blush! Its just up my street, peach with coral undertones and a tad a shimmer. On the other hand im not mad about the primer, used the Smashbox and the Lancome ones before and they felt much silkier then this.

FOTD with the new goodies

And with Flash.

Love the coverage and the texture, it kept me mate the entire day with minimal help from powder (Skin Finish Mineralize). My only complaint would be the smell (melted crayons anyone) and the lack of pump (i will buy one). Hope it wont break me out, heard its a hit or miss with this.
