When you are tanned, happy and wearing nice sunglasses, makeup is something that can be kept to the minimum. Under the hot torrid sun, no foundation would ever feel too light for me and my usual amount of slap would feel to heavy on my face.
During the day i was hiding under my shades and counting on a light dust of Avene Spf 50 compact and an infectious good humor to make up for my lack of ‘face’.
In the afternoon i came back to my favorite mineral powder from Smashbox (Halo in Medium), contoured with a Dior shimmery bronzer and highlighted my cheeks with the latest Benefit tint – Sun Beam. Its such a gorgeous highlighter, it softly adds shine to a bronzed skin while looking very natural.
Didn’t bother with any eyeshadow, ive just used my favorite Lancome palette ever (limited ed. from last autumn) to contour my brows and added just a drop of the cream highlighter in my tear duct and under the brow bone. To define my eyes, ive used an old favorite wp eyeliner in bronze from ArtDeco (it must be 5 years old!). I softly smugged it under my lower lashes. Two coats of Lancome Hypnose Mascara in black finished my look.
For lipstick and nails, ive sticked to coral seemed holiday appropriate.
Im quite enjoying being more minimalistic in my routine, its amazing what a tan can do to girl.
