Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan Review

*1 hour after the application. Turned proper brown after 3hours*

Firstly i have to say im not a tanning expert. Think i probably used the fake stuff 3 times max in my life, as i tend to have a medium sallow skin naturally. In foundations im 035 in Lancome, 030 in Chanel and Dior and tend to go for the medium version with BB’s and tinted moisturisers.

But after hearing for the past months raving reviews about Cocoa Brown and again, having it mentioned heavily during the #irishbbloggers chat on Twitter, had to give it a go myself.

Widely available, i spotted it in chemists for €7.99 and in Pennyes for €7. I went with the later, to be honest its worth the ques €0.99, specially that ive picked up both versions.

Did it deliver? Yes, it sure did.

Beautiful mousse, not runny or messy and i can even venture to say moisturising. Cocoa Brown it applied smoothly, having a subtle tint to see where you are applying. The most important feature that impressed me was that its completely scent free. Couldn’t believe it! No more biscuit smell.

Colour wise, it developed very natural and i will probably need two coats from now on to get my desired ‘bronzed goddess’ look. To be honest i prefer it like this, rather than getting mahogany in one go and spending hours trying to scrub it off on the bits it went wrong.

Have you tried Cocoa Brown yet?

I just love your dresser table and how you organised your makeup. I’m no tanning fan but it sounds like this product can deliver so I might give it a go 🙂

I wasn’t so gone on it I felt it dried out my skin and the fade off was awful… Three other girls in work hated it with one girl loving it!

From the drying point of view it definitely didn’t dry our my skin, but again i don’t suffer with dry patches. It seems to fade away around my hands quite naturally, got more of a natural healthy glow rather than heavy duty tan.
