Wedding OOTD

The reception of the wedding took place in the swanky Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin – lets just all take a moment and admire how beautiful my friend Amy was on her wedding day. The dress, the veil everything looked stunning and perfect. Of course, the groom looked very dapper in his suit too.

I had the pleasure to be Amy’s maid of honor and be there for them on their big day, i was also one of the witnesses so we are practically family now. After looking at several dresses for me, we found on a whim this bright pink Dorothy Perkins dress. On Sale too! You are not going to believe that it was only €33, the cut is super flattering, the color amazing and everybody seemed to love it.

For accessories i wore my own wedding shoes – a peep toe patent heel from Ted Baker and a rose gold chain cocktail bag. My only regret was that i had to wore tights, the weather was horrendous and of course i had to run around, in and out so tights were mandatory. As for my hair, i kept it simple, bouncy and loose curls. The whole team of the wedding was bohemian, natural beauty so we all tried to oblige.

You will probably notice that im significantly blonder now, i’ve taken the next step into hair lightening and now im a lovely golden blonde. Its a lot cooler in real life, think it looks a touch on the ginger side because of the blitz. This summer im determined to see if blondes have more fun!

Vineri am avut placerea de a fi domnisoara de onoare la nunta uneia dintre prietenele mele bune, Amy. Receptia a avut loc in superbul hotel Four Seasons din Dublin, imi pare rau ca nu am apucat sa fac mai multe poze cu locatia, dar sper sa reusesc sa obtin pozele fotografului nuntii cat de curand.

Amy a fost o mireasa deosebit de eleganta, rochia simpla si voalul lung, inspirat din nuntile spaniole au reliefat si mai mult eleganta si frumusetea miresei. Stilul nuntii a fost unul boem, natural, fara artificii ne-necesare.

Pentru mine, am ales amandoua o rochie de la Dorothy Perkins intr-o nuanta vesela de roz fucsia. Doar e o nunta de vara! Am asortat-o cu o pereche de pantofi stil peep toe nude si o geanta roz gold, ambele de la Ted Baker. Singura mea suparare a fost ca a trebuit sa port un dres, foarte fin cei drept dar care din pacate s-a evidentiat in poze. In Irlanda, vara nu prea exista si am avut parte de o zi nemaipomenit de ploioasa si rece iar cum eu alergam de colo colo, cand afara cand inauntru – am avut nevoie de ceva mai substantial.

Nu stiu daca veti observa, dar mi-am colorat din nou parul – sunt acum o blonda cu acte in regula! In poze din cauza flashului, arata mult mai roscat si auriu decat e in realitate. Poate data viitoare imi va iesi un ton mai cool.
