Two things i needed for spring: a nice trench coat and a pretty backpack. I wanted something fitted, not too thin so it will be ok for autumn too and hopefully somewhat waterproof. As for the backpack, i’ve looked and looked and i would either find sport models, too hipster or too casual. Of course my prayers were answered again by my favorite Zara. I found my perfect trench coat and the backpack is so dainty and cute, that it even has lady like in the description.

I love my new backpack so much! Made of powder blue saffiano leather, feels feather light even when im stuffing in all my possessions and the kitchen sink. It has two generous compartments – a bottom one that zips on and the main large one. Cant recommend it enough. The trench coat is exactly what i’ve wanted as well: heavy, expensive feeling cotton that is sturdy enough to face rain or shine. On the model it looks quite short, yet on my 5ft3 frame is the perfect above the knee length.
I choose to dress it down with white Converse and my old Mango sweater, spicing things up by adding my Miss Selfridge statement necklace. Lets face it, my favorite way of dressing is casual anyway – i love to collect heels to look at and choose to walk in cons and flats instead.
