I was saying on Snapchat a while ago (add me – yourbeauty.ie) that i have saved some money during my pregnancy to treat myself to a new wardrobe. I kept waiting for the last three months to lose all the weight i’ve accumulated, somehow thinking ill just snap back to my previous figure in no time. Well the scale is still stuck to the same number and i was wearing the same jeans and sweatshirt for far too long, new clothes were a must for my appearance and moral.
I haven’t made an order from New Look in ages and when i’ve seen the most beautiful lace dress ever, i knew it was time to visit them again. I’ve forgotten what lovely stuff they have and how affordable they are!
Firstly i picked up the said white lace dress. Its just the most beautiful piece of clothing i own so far! I got it in a size 36 which is the equivalent of Small and i have to say its kinda hard to breath in it at the moment :). If i would’ve gotten the 38, it would’ve been way to big on the chest area so a Small it was. I only need to lose some back fat and it will be grand :).
The next few things i got i can happily say they fit and look rather cute on me, if i can say so myself. The bomber jacket is great to add color to any boring outfit, its super silky and summery. I got a metallic top from Mango in a rose gold shade that it will look marvelous with it. Well, any simple monochrome top would go well with the florals. Cant wait to style it and show you.
The black suedette sandals were such a bargain, snipped them out when there was a 25% sale going on. I want to get the nude version too if i can still find it, i love how the suedette makes them super comfortable to wear and doesn’t pinch my toes. Im brutal at wearing heels and these ones will be great to add a bit of height and lengthen my legs.
Lastly, the white crepe top was just too good of a price to let go. You never have enough white tops in the summer or ever for that matter. The neckline has a pretty broderie detail that adds that little something to the simplicity of the crepe material. Super comfortable, great with jeans or midi skirts.
Have you checked out New Look lately, they really stepped up their game this season. Ill leave you below with my new wishlist, sigh its never ending :).

They really up’ed their game this season.
Don’ be too hard on yourself about losing pregnancy weight gain, I’ve been there, done that and it can be frustrating. I never really got back to my previous weight, I’m 2 kg over which I know is not much but still, it never gone back down.
I adore everything that you ordered especially the white dress and top, super sweet and pretty! Is New Look a UK brand? I don’t think I’ve seen it here in Canada.
