Mac lipstick collection and swatches
My very first lipstick was Ablaze, a limited edition pink coral from the Fashion Sets Collection. Its still my favorite and i dread the day when ill be finishing it off. As you can see i have a mixed bag, im attracted to corals and brights as i believe it suit me the most and choose everyday non offensive nudes as they are easy to pop on and go.
Cosmo was my wedding day color, i was wearing a blush pink dress and thought that the dusty vintage nude will go great with my dark hair. Vegas Volt is my full proof summer bright, a warm peach coral that brightens up my whole appearance.
Morange im still yet to wear outside the house, its a true punchy orange that i love lots and yet i cant muster the guts to wear it out.
With Ruby Woo and Russian Red i have a love hate relationship – i adore the matte, long lasting beautiful color and i absolutely detest the condition of my lips after wearing them. After only one wear they can leave my lips so dry, that i need at least two days of intensive conditioning. Well worth it though.
My favorite pink lip combination must be Girl About Town heavily applied and blotted, with a touch of Clarins Instant Lip Perfector in Pink. Takes some of the neon brightness off, whilst adding a soft shine. Always my option if i am wearing pink.
Would love to hear what is your favorite Mac lipstick, probably my next purchase will be Crosswires. Another bright, shocking!

I LOVE Lady Danger and Morange!! They’re gorgeous colours! I’m heading to the airport today… I may have to pick one of them up! My new favourite from MAC is “Twig”. It’s my perfect nude!

I love the look of ‘Cosmo’, that one hasn’t caught my eye before! I’m not very brave with lip colours, so I tend to not buy really bright ones from non-budget brands because I know I won’t get the wear from them. With the result that all my ‘good’ ones are forms of the same nude! With MAC, I like twig, velvet teddy and faux – all ones I have bought in the last few months after the whole Kylie Jenner thing exploded and made 90s browns popular again!

I just cant make browns work for me, they make me look like death :)). Cosmo is great, a nude bright enough to give a lift, yet can go with most looks.

Hmm Now really wonder if I should get Ruby Woo & Russian Red… They both look great but I don’t like drying formulas…
