Have a look in my travel makeup bag

I went overboard with my clothes and makeup packing for a week. Again.

A night before leaving, i did my luggage being very organized and even frugal. Yes, everything was neat and tidy, makeup kept to a minimum.

All changed a few hours before going, I personally blame the early hour of the morning (3am) when my flight was scheduled. Within of hour before leaving, i started to shove things in my suitcase that i might need: cue extra 3 other lip glosses, 4 pairs of shoes, 3 dresses, everything on top of my other essentials. Thank God, Ony knows how to fit everything neatly and together and with a little prayer to the lord above i was hovering around the 20kg mark.

Of course i forgot my blusher blush lol, i used instead the Body Shop Gel Bronzer with a bit of blush on top using the angle powder/bronzer brush from Lancome.

I want to do a review of the Gosh Natural Touch foundation in the upcoming days, used it so far continuously for the last two weeks.

From left to right: Clarins Gentle Shea Butter Cream Cleanser, Avene Thermal Water, Lancome Bifacil, Lancome Douceur Cleansing Milk, Lancome Douceur Toner, Lancome Genifique Eye Cream, Clinique Moisture Surge Moisturiser (from Glamour)

Tried to get travel sizes in all of them, i only had to bring my full Bifacil no samples left.

A friend recommended the Poker Straight shampoo & conditioner from Lee Strafford to help me get really straight locks. Wasn’t mad on it, used half and left the rest in the hotel. It did seem to flatten my hair by itself and it did had a nice scent, i just find it a bit heavy and it flattened my roots. Also the conditioner wasn’t strong enough for my hair, especially because i went to the beach a couple of times.

My regret is that i didn’t bring a deep conditioner and a sun protecting spray for my hair. When i came back it was in such a state: frizzy, incredibly dry and very tangled. I had to cut out 5 cm from the length :(.

Body & Fragrance

Clarins Self Tanning After Sun Moisturiser, Marc Jacobs Daisy Body Lotion, Carolina Herrera 212 Sexy VIP 30 ml

I had the Clarins After Sun left from last year and i still love it to bits! Gives a beautiful natural glowing tan,  while moisturizing the skin. I keep it just for holidays, love how it enhances my tan.

Just finished yesterday my Carolina, it is a sweet floral scent with a great staying power on the skin. Enjoyed the packaging and how handy it was for the purse. Not sure if i would repurchase though, liked it but not loved it.

As well, i wish i would’ve brought a body lotion/butter with me. I couldn’t use the after sun every day after shower because of smell and i didn’t want to very fake tanned.

Also for my hair, the only tool i brought with me was the Babiliss Big Hair brush. A life saver.

Looking back, it doesn’t seem to bad…it seems under packed actually. What do you think?

P.S. Ive taken the photos while away. Forgot to post my sun care used there: Lancome Genifique SPF 30 for face and Genifique SPF 30 for body with the Clarins SPF 30 stick for lips and sensitive areas.
