Covering Up with Bobbi Brown Concealers

Bobbi Brown Concealer Bobbi Brown Concealers

Bobbi Brown Corrector | Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit | Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener.

One of my favorite features of my face are my eyes and one of my biggest flaws, my dark circles. Being hereditary, there isn’t much i can do about them except covering up and hoping for the best. In the summer time they go really bad because of my hayfever and without my daily antihistamine, you would think that im spending all my nights awake, balling crying.

After finishing up my Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage, i was looking out for the next best thing to hide my darkness. Also needed something that would look nice in photos, we all know im a poser and sometimes my under eye is looking worse on camera than in real life. Vain, me? Never!

Because i couldn’t make up my mind which of the concealers/correctors suit best my problem and being told that for the very best results i need them all, here i am with the whole Bobbi Brown offering for dark circles. Got the Light Peach Corrector, Creamy Concealer Kit in Beige and the Tinted Eye Brightener in Light to Medium Peach.

To be honest, just the Corrector and the Eye Brightener would’ve been sufficient. There was no need to get the kit and the corrector, the only difference between them is that one comes with a setting powder and one doesn’t.

Texture wise, it feels a bit drier than the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage and im finding that it takes a bit longer to properly warm it up. I just dotted the corrector under the eyes with my fingers, blend it with the Real Techniques Concealer brush and add a touch of Brightener to highlight Kardashian style.

Im quite pleased with the result: the inner corner darkness is diminished and the coverage is decent, whilst looking natural. You can still see the ‘semi-circles’ under my eye, but they look a bit more airbrushed and not as prominent.

Any other kick ass concealers that you can recommend?

I too suffer from the dark circles with added puffiness even though I don’t have hay fever. I am finding now that I am a little ahem older that the concealer is making my lines look worse… Time to chop the head off
