On Saturday, I had the pleasure to spend an afternoon filled with treats and cakes, chatting all things pretty with amazing beauty bloggers, surrounded by the lovely interiors of the Radisson Blu Hotel in Stillorgan.
We all got together to celebrate the launch of the new Cocoa Brown Body Scrub ‘Tough Stuff’ by Marissa Carter with a pink teamed afternoon tea party. You all know that i am a fan of her tan, even a newbie like myself can use it and ‘1 Hour Tan’ was the product of choice for my wedding day. The scrub is the business and literally takes any layer of tan or dead skin off, leaving behind only smoothness – but more on this in a post to follow.
Because the theme was pink, i raided my wardrobe for something appropriate for the occasion. I came up with a bright fuchsia pink blouse by Zara (last summer sale find), my favorite 50’s skirt ever from H&M (Christmas 2012 buy, but they brought it back in beige this summer too. Sadly i missed it) and my never worn before Vivienne Westwood Lady Dragon shoes.
Accessories were my beloved Zara giant pearl necklace, Michael Kors watch and an ancient Ralph Lauren patent clutch, got as a free gift with a perfume buy years ago. It has such a classic shape, is simple and black and has the most clever large mirror inserted inside. Genius for nights out!
Got so many compliments on my makeup (thank you girls!) – if anybody is interested i have the low down in this post here. Basically i wore Mac Stereo Rose on my cheeks and the Clinique Strawberry Fudge eye shadows, which guarantees a glowing and radiant look. Seriously guys, you need some rose gold Strawberry in your life!
Thank you again Cocoa Brown for having me and as for Marissa, the sky is the limit!
