Indian Summer

Another gorgeous day in the city, i feel so lucky when a hot sunny day coincides with a day off and i can spend it with my husband. Of course today we did our weekley walk into town, building up an appetite and increasing our vitamin D deposits.

We went trough St. Stephen Green park for a stroll, so we could admire all the changing colors from the trees and just have a nice nose around. Everybody was so chilled, people were sitting on the grass reading or having a picnic, couples were dancing passionate tango while others were playing hula hoop. Great vibes to charge the batteries for another working week.

We stopped for lunch in Bison in town, was craving all week a meat feast: tasty, honey glazed ribs and soft, melting in the mouth pulled pork accompanied by homemade coleslaw salad and hand cut chips. Simply delicious, seriously was talking about going here since Wednesday! The perfect dinner before an Oktoberfest beer binge.

Dublin, you are a babe!

For today’s activities i wore my Topshop polka dot dress, wanted to feel loose and comfortable and it was too nice outside for jeans. It was actually too hot to even wear tights, but because this dress is true to its flippy description, every blow of wind or movement is exposing ones bottom. Nothing to see there, so some black tights keep things under control.

This dress looks a million times better with a pair of ankle cut boots, a bit of heel makes such a difference to the whole appearance but as we walked for hours, flats it was.

We stopped to Oktoberfest for a bit of fun and of course, a beer.

Will definitely be going next week too, i absolutely have to taste some of the traditional German foods… the smells from the barbeques were unbelievable and a great choice too. What were you up to this weekend? Would love to hear your stories xo.
