Top Serums from Elizabeth Arden, Lancome, Clinique and Vichy

Top Serums IMG_9951 There is no surprise that i am passionate about skincare, eternally searching for the fountain of forever youth. Serums are my favorite, packed with antioxidants and active ingredients they will target specific skin issues like pigmentation and wrinkles and deliver fast results.

I have tried and tested some of the top treatments available on the market at the moment and i must confess that the containers in the photos above have being drained to the very last drop. So rest assured, I actually used them and noted my results.

Elizabeth Arden Prevage Advanced Anti-Aging Serum – the most expensive from the bunch! I was given this generous 50ml bottle from my friend, to give my skin a boost and a glow before my wedding day. It contains Idebenone, the most powerful antioxidant available in luxury skincare who’s job is to block free radicals, even out skin tone, promote radiance and have an anti-aging effect.

I started using Prevage at the start of May, religiously every morning and it lasted until late July. Amazing stuff! My skin has become plump, radiant and even and i was feeling that im doing something healthy for my skin. Like taking my vitamins. Im thinking to do a detox with Prevage every spring to get my skin ready for the summer, i wish i could use it all the time but my bank manager would seriously have a meltdown.

My night out/important event serum of choice is the Lancome Renergie MultiLift Revive Plasma. This baby will instantly model the face, lift and tighten so everything looks smoother and younger. A facelift in a bottle, keeps everything under control like a corset. Texture wise is what i would imagine plasma would be, a thicker than the average serum it almost needs to be worked onto the skin to be absorbed. I would recommend it to anyone who instantly needs their fine lines erased and face contours refined.

My daily serum for the last three months is the Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus, that promises to smooth, restore and correct. I was instantly won by the claim of reversing the sun damage and the proven anti age clinical claims. We all need some line smoothing and age reversing! After just a couple of day i noticed a dramatic skin softness, an even smooth skin and that my features were looking more relaxed. I don’t have major wrinkles yet, so im happy when my skin is looking smooth and generally more rested. Exceptionally good for sensitive skin – allergy tested and 100% fragrance free.

Vichy Idealia Life Serum is the youngest on the market, only launched this summer and meant to be the solution for tired, stressed and aging skin. Idealia is meant to erase the environmental and lifestyle actions that play havoc on our skin, with the help of the LR 2412 molecule borrowed from its big brother Visionnaire and added LHA.

‘Live a little’ is the campaign motto, as most of us will have that cheeky cocktail, will go on a sun holiday and have that midnight takeaway. Its all about balance, so when you are overindulging you can trust Idealia Life to keep your skin clear, smooth and line free.

Skin is so important, are you a ‘youth’ fanatic like myself? x

Really nice selection. I’ve tried a couple of sample sachets of the Vichy one and loved it, so it’s next on my list to purchase.

I’m big into serums too and have just ran out of my night time one so I’m thinking the Vichy will be my next buy!

I absolutely love serums, they’re a great boost for dehydrated skin. I have a few samples of the Prevage serum – really must dig them out and try it, I keep amassing samples from GWP and forget to use them, d’oh! Great post! 🙂
