New Clarins Graphik Autumn 2017 Collection

The new Clarins Graphik Autumn Makeup Collection ’17 is focused on one strong message: Express Yourself! Sultry, forest green eyes lined with black liquid liner, paired with rich moisturizing lipsticks – its all go this season with Clarins. If in the summer time we are going natural and airy with, during autumn we rekindle our love for products and we embrace a more elaborate makeup look.

Eyes seem to be the feature most fashionable to accentuate this season, the Graphik collection brings together a sultry yet wearable makeup look with Forest Green eyeshadows, Matte Ombre Cream to Powder in deep Navy and Cream and Jet Black Graphik Ink Liner. The rest of the face is polished with rose gold cheeks – the new Blush Prodige in Golden Pink and glossy Joli Rouge Lips.

The eyeshadow quad can be used wet or dry, depending on the desired intensity. The palette includes two shades of green, a satin-finish light green and a deep forest shade, a highlighting shade and a deep smoky charcoal liner. This palette will actually join the existing Clarins eyeshadow collection and will not be a limited edition. I personally find the Clarins shadows to be easy to use without fallout and suitable for someone who likes a natural look and perhaps doesn’t want to spend a lot of time blending the colors. The instructions in the case makes them fool proof and i think they are a great purchase for someone who wants an easy, day to day eyeshadow palette.

If i were to pick my favorites from the collection would be the lipsticks, lip liners and blush. However, if i were to choose just one it would be without a doubt the lipsticks! The formula enriched with Jojoba oil makes it feather light on the lips, yet with a beautiful pigment and glossy, hydrating finish. They are a dream to apply and just overall outstanding. The lipliners are beautiful as well, long lasting and soft with a nice matte finish. I generally line my lips first, use the lipstick of my choice and then go again with the liner to blend the edges even more and create a voluminous pout.

Blush Prodige in Golden Pink is a gorgeous rose gold, soft blush that not only gives a rosy glow to your cheeks but highlights and illuminates. Its the type of shade that instantly perks up any complexion and freshens up the look.
