Artdeco Mediterranean Life Spring 2019 Makeup Collection

Artdeco Flirt With The Mediterranean Life Spring 2019

This season, Artdeco has been inspired by the Terrazzo stones of the Mediterranean and created a colorful and fun makeup look for a spring time. The German brand has a fresh new essence and brand value, priding themselves as ‘luxury that you can afford’.

I know the brand quite well. I used the Artdeco products in work makeovers and for personal use when i was living back in Romania. When I moved over to Ireland with a kit composed mainly from magnetic palettes and colorful eye shadows and blushes.

One of the biggest features of Artdeco is that you can create your own personal selection of shadows and blush, thanks to the magnetic palettes and single inserts. It’s so easy and practical to choose a couple of shades that you know you will use every day. Instead of a palette filled with colors that are a bit meh. Brilliant for traveling and for a very organized day to day makeup bag.

Vibrant Pink, Blue and Violet is ‘In’ this season

The Mediterranean Life collection celebrates the return of spring with six new pigmented and long lasting eye shadows. Intense pink, rose-tree tones, blue and green shades that will make your eyes pop.

Initially i was slightly intimidated by the shade selection, im very boring and rarely verge outside my warm brown tones. However, once i played with the colors i created a soft, feminine look. The shades blend easily and the texture is a soft matte.

To complete the look, there are four new lilac/pink lipsticks available (Rosewood Shimmer, Lingering Rose, Watermelon Pink, Electric Violet) and two new blushes (Holiday Flirt and Little Romance).

New! An Ultra Transparent Setting Powder

The novelty of the collection is the newest addition: the compact setting powder. Its like nothing i have seen before. The powder is completely transparent and it can be truly used by anyone, regarding the color of their skin tone. It looks scarily white once you open the compact, however you don’t even see it on the skin. Initially i thought that’s the sponge of the powder and not the actual product.

Most products in the Artdeco range are refillable, so once you buy your main palette or powder you can just refill the contents. Which means you are minimizing packaging and saving a few euro.
