My only saving grace in terms of keeping my color bright were purple shampoos: they managed to keep my blonde on the cool side, banish the yellow tones and give me that much desired shine. See my other blonde hair favorites here.
Every other wash i try to do a color refresh and now i have been trialing out the new Alfaparf Milano That’s It Shampoo and Mask for Cool Blondes. This is a professional affordable hair care range – €12.95 for the shampoo and €14.95 for the mask, available in salons and online.
Alfaparf Milano That’s It products contain light-reflecting pearl particles that diffuse light from all directions, giving an infinite amount of tones and incredible shine. Ceramide delivers strength and nourishment to the hair fiber to keep it compact and uniform and phyto-keratin – due to its incredibly similar structure to hair which acts from within the fiber giving a healthy and vibrant appearance.
The Blonde Ambition Shampoo is pigmented just as i like it, neutralizes the yellow undertones in a flash and is gentle on my scalp. There is something in the violet pigment that can dry out my scalp and cause flakiness, so im happy to report that it hasn’t happened with Alfaparf.
What really impressed me however, was the Blonde Parade Mask. Suitable for warm or cool blondes, this mask left my hair so silky and nourished like never before. It smells absolutely delicious and i was surprised to see how conditioned my hair felt after only 3 minutes of treatment. If i was to get one thing from the range, it would be this mask.
Have you tried ALFAPARF products before?
PR Sample. ALFAPARF haircare products available in selected salons and online.

I haven’t tried that brand, but as I had my hair recently bleached again (my hairdresser has very comfortable chairs, and they have a back massage one for when your hair is washed!), I may see if I can get them here in Germany.

Im absolutely dying to get my hair done, had a brief thought to grow out my natural color but i would be looking less beauty blogger and more homeless.
These sound fab. I’m always using purple shampoos as well – Shu Uemura’s Colour Lustre is my all time favourite. Also love Bleach purple shampoo as a less expensive version!

Loving the hair mask the most! Super shiny, soft hair :).
Someone gave me a present of that’s it alfaparf grey pride shampoo. I have highlights and low lights but not grey. would the grey pride make my hair more ash . I don’t want that I hate the greyish/ash colour . The lady in thye hair salon told my friend that it would be fine for my hair!

You don’t need to have grey highlights, it will just counteract the brassiness that highlighted blonde hair can get. It will give you an ashier, cooler tone.
do you know where I can buy it online?? I cant find it anywhere!! 🙁
