I was just reading about this new mascara from Loreal on Beauti-K`s blog a few weeks ago and i thought we are not going to get it in Ireland, as it was created especially for the British ladies. But here it was in my local chemist, placed on a hot spot (5 euro off), in all its shiny glory.
It has the same shape and packaging as the Collagen Volume, but with a new type of wand and of course, a new gold colour. I didn’t like at all the Collagen mascara, i found the wand to big, clumpy and it did nothing for me so of course, i thought this would be the same. Well its not.
This wand is made of rubber, it doesnt have bristles and it is somehow similar to my Max Factor Masterpiece.
The wand is still big, but i find it very manageable and clump free. After trying this and the Max Factor one, i came to the conclusion that rubber wands work best for me. I don’t know why, but i get maximum separation and volume and my lashes look very nice.
Apparently the mascara has a wiper inside the tube that enables the wand to get clumpy with product.
Yeah, so there you have it. Overall i like this mascara, it doesn’t give a fantastic volume with just one coat, but as it is buildable you can manage to get lovely separated lashes, perfect for a day look. It retails at 17,5o euro full price and at the moment its on offer 5 euro off.
I tried to do some photos of my eyes, but after about 50 blurry ones i give up. Either I’m crap at doing them or my camera is…or a combination of both, but i cant manage to get a decent photo of my eyes. If you have any tips, please share them with me :).
