Irish Beauty Blogger As for moisturiser, 2015 seen me being faithful to one cream in particular – the Clinique Superdefense SPF 20. This is unheard off for me, i always chop and change and try different lotions and potions. I loved the texture so much, light yet moisturising perfect for under makeup and the concoction of antioxidants and high SPF helped against pigmentation and pregnancy melasma. I highly recommend it.

Favorite Makeup Brushes Ive invested in a few new brushes and discovered the how wonderful foundation can look when applied with a sponge. Im currently using the Real Techniques one, it lasted me months and it is super affordable but im willing to give a try to the original Beauty Blender, apparently its life changing.

Beauty Favorites Most used lipsticks:

Mac Kinda Sexy

Clinique Soft Matte Peony

Mac Lipstick Collection

Irish Blogger Scent wise, ive been rotating between the D&G No3 L’Imperatice and D&G Light Blue. I wanted to be faithful to one scent (ok two) that will remind me of my pregnancy. Both of them are light, crisp scents that uplift the senses and are great for day to day use.

Bleach London Silver Shampoo Between expensive salon appointments every 8 weeks to cover up roots and the daily battle against the dreaded yellow, being a bottle blonde is both marvelous and exhausting at the same time. Purple shampoo is a must at least once a week to help banish warm tones and my most favorite and used one in 2015 was the Bleach London Silver Shampoo and Conditioner. Paired with the Schwarzkopf Color XXL Icy Platinum toner mousse, it helped my blonde to remain clean and bright between hair appointments. Im curious to try the L’Oreal Silver Shampoo this year, everybody seems to rave about it.

Friday’s Five

Im looking forward to updating my look and makeup collection in 2016, i have some saved baskets filled with goodies to treat myself after my pregnancy. After all, I need something to keep me going during labor :).

The ambiant lights powder palette looks very tempting. I’m all about the glow and I am still looking for highlighters that would work for me.
Very nice post with very interesting products. I’m not blond (all the opposite) but I’m very curious about this purple shampoo.

You can still use purple shampoo if you are a brunette, it will give your hair an ashy tone and loads of shine.
