Since baby Sophia was born, i have started looking out more for Parenting Blogs and new mum’s experiences for reassurance and a bit of inspiration. Before having Sophia i haven’t even held a baby before, never mind deal with nappy changes or knowing what’s the best cream to treat dermatitis, so relying on my friends and yes, Dr. Google has become a daily occurrence.

I have received the at my Baby Shower after some subtil hints (ok emailing my friends the link). I was looking for a comfortable, soft and safe play mat for tummy time and for general playing as everything i’ve seen before seemed a bit too thin and bare.

The play mat feels super cosy, ill be honest i wouldn’t mind one for myself – the fabric feels velvety to touch, luxurious and its padded for extra comfort. The bear’s feet and arms are stuffed with different textures of materials that make noises when touched or handled, so every time the baby moves it gets entertained. Two high arches are holding the dangly toys, Sophia can stare and laugh at them 20 minutes at the time which in my book is just marvelous.

I think she’ll get even more out of it when she will be slightly bigger and will be able to grasp the toys and play with the bear a bit more. For the moment its a very safe place for me to leave her in when i need to do something, as i know she will love it and will be comfy in it too. The play mat is suitable from birth and later on i will just take the arches down so Sophia can sit on it and play. Oh the fun will we have!
