L’Occitane Classic Advent Calendar 2018
The Christmas Advent Calendars and Sets are here! Every year around this time, all the luxury beauty brands will release their holiday collections. Beautiful sets that will add value for money, bursting of little extras. Usually you just pay for the full size product inside and get rewarded with a bunch of minis. A great way of stocking up.
In this post im going to cover the first of Advent Calendars released – the (€59). I need to warn you, this is a spoiler post! If you don’t want to know, please look away. However, if you want to know what its inside and if its good value, continue reading. To keep one element of surprise, i mixed the little gifts so they don’t match their appropriate doors. I’m good like that.
This years L’Occitane design is really standing off from other years, the french beauty powerhouse has teamed up with the Fashion House CASTELBAJAC Paris. Together they released luxurious, vivid and bright packaging that will get you in the festive spirit. Anyone would be delighted to receive one of these gifts.
What’s Inside the L’Occitane Classic Advent Calendar
Come 1st of December, get ready to peel back door number 1. Besides finding a lovely Amande shower oil to moisturize your body, if you read the message on the door it said “My Commitments”. A lovely way of doing a positive little change in your daily life. Being committing to a random act of kindness, being sustainable or being very particular in avoiding waste that day – its just a very positive way of starting your day. Most doors will have a key message that will add mindfulness to your day and a lovely treat to reward you.

As you can see there is a lovely selection of body, hair, scent and face products. The sizes are generous and will keep you soft and moisturized for the entire month of December. The packaging feels luxurious, a hard book tied up with ribbons and deliciously scented. The contents of the advent calendar are estimated at €85 and the price is €59. Considering the contents and the quality of the packaging i thing its a fair price.

L’Occitane Supports UNICEF
This year L’Occitane are also working with UNICEF to help raise money to prevent childhood blindness. They have released the Solidarity Candle in their iconic cherry blossom scent and a beautiful tin packaging for the festive season. 100% of the profits from the candle are donated to UNICEF to help the cause.

I love the fact that they have a key message behind the doors, but I don´t find myself reaching for my L´Occitane products (with an exception of the hand cream) very often.
