Next Home Haul

I am a huge fan of, being kids clothes or home wear i just need it all. Over the last months, since we moved into our new home i gathered a few pieces from their Home Collection, most of them are still in stock now so i figured i would do a round up blog post. I found them to be quite affordable and good quality, their deliveries are fast and the staff in shops very helpful. I am almost every weekend in the Liffey Valley branch to check out the new stock and you can say by now im on first name bases with the sales team.

We haven’t even bought the house and i knew i wanted Pineapple lamps for the night stands so i did my best to find them. I was between the Next version and the Laura Ashley one – the later i found it to be too small and frankly overpriced. My were €40 each compared to €125 each in Laura Ashley. Unfortunately i was too late and missed out on the matching pineapple pendants for the ceiling lights, they were part of the summer collection and got sold out fast. Instead i teamed them up with the and i think they go together very well. Because we knocked out our en suite in the bedroom we were left with two ceiling lamps, so i needed something simple yet stylish. You be the judge if i succeeded!

For Sophia’s room i was looking for a nice ceiling shade and black out curtains, ive seen them in Next in Liffey Valley and i just had to get them for her. I only wish i would’ve got a wider curtain, the measurement was correct but because its gathered at the top it becomes very small. If you have a girly girl like i do and dont want an obnoxious shade of pink, the is gorgeous to add a bit of glamour the room and the are a show stopper.

My living room is very bright, with copper accents so i needed accessories to match my theme. I got a gorgeous Sparkle canvas in January and needed a matching To bring everything together, i have a couple of yellow accents in the shape of vases and fun signs. I seem to be drawn to ceramics, Next has a great selection for hand painted pieces that add a bit of happiness to the living area.

During their Summer Sale i got a couple of knickknacks for an absolute bargain: this trinket flamingo dish for €2 and pineapple coasters for €5. The heart shaped black board is indispensable, thats the only way we dont forget to get milk or bread the next day.

I was checking out their and i have a list as long as my arm, so many nice things!

Hope you enjoyed this post, home wear at the moment sparks a lot of joy in my life!
