I love setting out goals and making out lists, no wonder that the New Year is my favorite celebration (yes, i love it more than Christmas). Its the perfect time to look back and take note of achievements, set new challenges and learn from mistakes. Im very happy to notice that in 2014 the blog become stronger than it ever been before, stats doubled and i think, the content quality improved.
Beauty wise, i found myself staying loyal to a couple of products, discovering new loves and being more diligent with skincare rituals – for example, exfoliation.

Heavily disputed due to the high price point – Glam Glow still remains the best clay mask i’ve used all year. Detoxing, exfoliating and cleansing, i found that my oily combination skin thrived every time i’ve used this mask. Despite being a small tub, i found that it lasted from August until December, enjoying one mask per week. I will repurchase, probably waiting when it goes on sale again. Full review here.
Style Lab Living Proof Style Extender Spray// Morrocan Oil Light// Mac Studio Fix Foundation// Ren Resurfacing AHA Concentrate// Avon Luxe Lipstick.
The Ren products were the highlight of the year! My skin has been utterly transformed thanks to the Glycolic Mask and the AHA Resurfacing Concentrate. If you are lacking radiance, your skin looks dull, suffer with pigmentation and fine lines – these are the products for you! Find reviews here and here.
Morrocan Oil Light was the oil of choice for my new blonde due, light weight and nourishing it was great for smoothing down mistreated ends. Also, last year i’ve discovered the joys of dry shampoo with Aussie Aussome Volume leading the way. When i was a brunette, i had to avoid dry shampoos as no matter of the brand i was ending up looking like i’ve aged over night. Since i went lighter, this isn’t a problem and it even helps to blend away dark roots for longer. Review here.
Most reached out lipsticks of the year were a few: i loved the colors of the Bourjois Lip Velvet (Pink Pong is still my favorite), the longevity of the new Clinique Soft Matte Lipsticks (need a few more in my collection) and the luxury of Tom Ford Spanish Pink. Despite all, probably the most used was the soft, creamy coral – Mac Vegas Volt. Im addicted! See posts here, here, here and here.

Total blogger-only point of envy here – your lips look great close up! Agreed on the Bourjois Velvets, I think they’re my top of everything this year.
